Thanks his name due to suspended yeast and wheat proteins which cause the beer to look white or hazy when cold. It’s a real Belgian concept. It’s top fermented with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. “The Great White has a solid mouthfeel and takes on more savory notes as it sits in the glass and each sip concludes with a soft bite.

A: clear golden, thin, off-white head.
A: wheat, lemon, coriander, soap, white bread.
T: sweetish apple, sourish lemon & wheat, spices.

P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Quite soapy and messy, alas.

Smooth fruity beginning. Creamy, moderate bitter with a grainy bitter herbal aftertaste. Bitter herbs, some Witbier-yeast, not too drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Turbeau The Great White on 01 Apr 2024 at 19:44 - Score: 6. Original review text: Smooth fruity beginning. Smell- weak wheat, yeast, citrus. Foam-thin, weak sourness, weak acidic tones. Head is large, and white. Sticks. Appearance- generic white bottle cap, but a nice label. Clear-ish yellow color, medium carbonation. From - pint Taste- citrus, weak sourness, weak wheat, weak hops. Bland and not for me. Something missing.

Pretty cloudy yellowish beige beer, big fluffy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: marijuana notes coming up from the bottle, very spicy in the glass, lots of coriander, malty, cookies, weird, nauseous smell. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: weird, grains, malty, very spicy, a bit lemony, lots of coriander. Aftertaste: weird, bitter, coriander, spicy, meh, some cookie dough, a bit sweet, don’t like...

Hazy blond colour, lots of white foam. Extremely carbonated. Difficult to get the taste because of the carbonation. Light bitter, a bit citrussy, some herbs.

Mild fruchtiger Beginn. Deutliche Herbe, trockener Hintergrund, getreidig. Konstante Aromatik, die Herbe lässt nach, mittellanger Abgang. Okay. 10/8/8/9//9
