A super-light & spritzy Berliner Weisse - Pilsen & Wheat malts in the grist, hopped with Hallertau, and conditioned for three weeks on sour cherries, this beer is slightly tart, fruity & pours a beautiful light cerise with a strawberry mousse. A very light body belies it's complexity, and ushers in the first of our summer seasonal range.

Bottle at home, from Oddbins Baker Street, 15/07/18. Clear pale cherry red with a decent light crimson cap. Nose is pale malts, light funk, cherry skins, balsa wood, damp hay. Taste comprises tarte cherry sherbets, balsa wood, grains, grass, damp straw, mild funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow tangy cherry pucker. OK simple refreshing sour on a hot day.

Keg at the London Brewers market. A hazed peach pink coloured pour with a loose pink head. Aroma is crisp, pear. Plum, tangy.. Flavour is composed of crisp pale grains, plum raspberry. Chalky.. Palate is crisp, highish tart. Not bad. Tart bite in the finish.

Keg at the London brewers Showcase. Pours clear pink with a tight, creamy white head. Mellow tart cherry aroma, some lemony accents. Light sweet flavourbwith modest acidity, tangy berries, a little citric bite. Light in bodybwith average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, with nips of tart berry and lemon. Very drinkable gear.
