Bottle. Dark brown color. Banana, caramel and a hint of roast in the wheaty flavor. Banana in the slightly herbal aroma. Soft milky finish. Drinkable.

50cl bottle. A slightly hazy orange brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of phenols, caramel, wheat. Taste of caramelish wheat malt, phenols, banana.

Weicher, dunkel hefiger Beginn. Geringfügig röstig, im Mittelteil mit angedeutet säuerlichem Hintergrund. Süffig, wenig Banane. Unauffällig. 9/8/7/8/9/7

Bottle shared by a group of men in Colin’s hotel room during the Bamberg Jolly of 2014. Pours hazy brown with a creamy white head. Lots of ripe fruits in the nose, some apple sauce. Medium sweet flavor with notes of ripe apple, toasted wheat, berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further ripe fruits, apple, dried bread. OK stuff.

Bamberg Jolly day 1 24/01/2014. Bottle share in Colin’s room. Aroma is weird apple sauce and tomatoes. Dark caramel orange coloured pour with a halo of greyish head. Flavour is slightly better, some caramel and sweet apple pie with some spices. Medium palate prickly carbonation. Not a huge fan of ths one.

Bottle in room 104 of Fassla Bamberg aka "Colins Room" and whose carpet was besmirched by at least 3 different beer stains during this mini tasting late on day 1 of the post Xmas Bamberg jolly - 24/01/14. Hazed chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is tangy dark fruits, bitter orange, dark toffee notes. Taste comprises dark fruits, toffee, light noffee pie, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok hefe.

Bamberg Bash Day 1. Tasting in Colin’s room along with some quality music! Hazy deep amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Light crispy palate. Light fruitiness with mild caramel malt. Light dry finish. Hangs together well.

Appearance: Amber colour with a beige head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, sugar.
Body: Medium body, heavy carbonation that guzzled when the bottle was open. Sorry about that Colin.
Flavour: Malt, caramel, dried fruit.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Hazy sparkling medium amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, fruity, moderate yeasty, fresh banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090604]
