This West Coast IPA is anything but amateur. Columbus, Citra, Simcoe and Azacca hops pull the strings of an all-star cast of flavour. Citrus, resin and pine are supported by grapefruit and stone fruit with no need for an interval. A subtle malt base is present throughout and topped off by an assertive bitter encore. Sit back and enjoy the show.

Glas geprobeerd bij Brew @ the Zoo. Het is een goudgeel licht troebel bier met matig schuim. Het aroma is hoppig en fruitig. De smaak is fruitig, harsig en bitter. Nasmaak is ook bitter en hoppig.

Can at home. Clear orange golden color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, bitter hops. Well, decent, but I was hoping for the resinous sticky hoppy notes. Okay but not great. Expected it to be better.

Lively, slightly hazy golden beer, solid white head. Smells zesty with grassy hop. Flavour has grapefruit and bittersweet lemon, bitter hop, something a little fresher in the finish but still a good lingering hop hit. Not anything to write home about but it's a nice, slightly-too-drinkable-for-the-strength IPA.

Can from Sainsbury's, Berryden. It pours clear golden - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is tangy citrus, in particular sticky ripe grapefruit, pomelo, tangerine, sappy, oily, peach, mango and gummy bears. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, fresh, sticky, sappy, resinous, pine, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo, star fruit, bitter rind, waxy, peppery spice and a touch of alcohol with a drying, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works for me. Nice fresh west coast zest. Moreish. Good supermarche number.

Draught, taster at Oslo Craft Beer Festival, yellow session. Golden-orange in body appearance, almost clear. Spotty lacing from a low, white head. inviting smell of citrus and peaches. Rich hop fruity taste of orange and grapefruit. Rounded fruity ending with a decent bitterness to it. Pleasant ipa. (Oslo 06.05.2022).

Can at home in Hackney - picked up locally I think. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with ample pine, sun-kissed pale malts, pale bread, orange, tangerine, a hint of honey. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, lightly resinous, more citrus fruits. To be fair, they’ve really nailed the WCIPA here.
