DDH Foggy IPA with Citra, Centennial, Simcoe & Chinook
One part fashion statement, two parts comfort. Three parts embarrassing the kids. We named this beer after our favorite Santa Cruz tourist phenomenon, in hopes that our beer might someday be just as popular. An unfiltered IPA made with oats, Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, and Chinook, using less traditional hopping techniques. More juicy and aromatic with less bitterness up front.
AROMA: Orange juice, mimosa, lime zest
FLAVOR: Pineapple, cantaloupe
MOUTHFEEL: Creamy, medium

8-3-8-4-16 On tap @ What's Brewing 22, Stavanger. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is grassy hops with tropical notes of mango, pineapples and stone fruits, as well as citrusy notes and oaty minerals. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dank hops with tropical notes passion fruits, pineapples and mango, as well as citrusy notes of tangerines, lime, grapefruit and oaty minerals. Lingering dry, hoppy finish.

Dingy pale orange-brown body, thick cream head. Aroma pear, grape, and lime. Body soft but balanced by an acidic limy bite, with notes of white grape juice and grapeskin, lychee, orange marmelade, and a soft gumminess. Mild earthiness and an appropriate bite. Pretty good but nothing stands out.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy straw gold with a finger of white, fluffy foam that lingers. Big pineapple aromas with with some dank and melon notes. All cantaloupe on the palate with lots of natsumikan and kumquat flavors. Drying finish, nice carbonation. Quite crushable.

Can@Zinc Craft Bar, Vaasa. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, some nectar and mild citrus. Flavour is floral, citrusy, some mild toffee and oats with mild sweet fruity elements too.

Draught, taster. @Mash 22, Barcelona (Spain). 28/10/2022 [#5.558 Global - #848 United States of America - #1 Humble Sea Brewing Company (My Brewery #244 from the States)] Pours hazy golden with a large off-white head. Aroma: very juicy with tons of grapefruit and pine. Taste: citrus, riped tropical fruits and green onion. Next one please!

Can. Opaque orange. A white head fades to a cm. Shyish aroma of earth, vague citrus, some stewed plum. Very fruit juice texture, slightly chalky. Oranges, lime & grass work their way through the gungy malt. Finish has citrus peel and some herbal astringency.
