Can in Brighstone, IOW. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a modest sweetness. A reasonable lager tang in the mid. The Magnum and Hallertau Mittelfruh bring crisp pine, a light noble hop floralness and a fairly bright citrus that is peel dominated. Light finish. Clean and drinkable, for me, to be top notch, it needs more noble hop bite.

16/9/2023. Can at the Vojens GP beer share. Bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grassy, sweet malt, caramel, grain, bread, butter. Quite sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average to soft carbonation.

Can on the train from Burton to Bingohame, thanks to Simon Cheeseboard (who wasn't on the train), 17/02/23. Clear golden orange with a decent just off white head that thins to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, floral, citric zest, bready, hint of vanilla. Taste comprises perfume, vanilla, floral notes, breads, sweet edged, honey. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable lager ... overly sweet and flabby for my liking.

Half-pint as Faux Lager 4.9 % abv, draught at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Next-to-clear amber body, patches on the surface, clingy lacing. Subdued smell of grain with a scent of grassy hops. Mixed taste of cereal malts, grass, and noble hops. Pale malt-driven finish. Clean mouth feel. Just alright, (Cowes 20.10.2022).

Som «Faux Lager 4.9%». Delt med Rune. Gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum. Lett maltaroma. Smaken gress & malt. Lett søtlig tørr avslutning.

Keg at the brewpub. Just called Lager on their website but still being called Faux Lager in the pub, as referenced in the previous rating.Aroma is sweet and malty and down low. Clear copper gold. Thin if blotchy white head. Biscuity doughy light sweetness with hints of citrus. Medium bodied. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. Pretty forgettable if inoffensive.
