This semi-sweet melomel has a gentle blueberry flavour and subtle honey notes, aged in a barrel to achieve that smoky, oaky flavour.

Sample at makers stall, Darlington Craft Market 30Apr2022. Pale pinkish orange colour, no head and aroma of honey, blueberry, hint of wood barrel. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, fruity with blueberry notes and some oak barrel hints. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering medium-sweet blueberry finish. Nicely sippable.
