Can from the lcbo. Hazy purple/reddish pour, with a small pi k head. Aroma is fake, tart raspberries with hints of vanilla and some light resinous hops. Mouth feel is good, carb was quite soft. Finish is very low on bitterness, light tartness, fake flavouring, tastes of jolly ranchers with soft vanilla sweetness.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber-red with lots of floaties and a small, creamy, short lived, pale pink head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, raspberry, vanilla, grapefruit and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, lactose, raspberry jam, grapefruit, vanilla, earthy yeast and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Medium body with a sticky, syrupy texture and average carbonation. A little too sweet and artificial for me.

Can that pours a clean light ruby-red colour with a big foamy-frothy pinkish head that lasts a while and leaves some soapy lacing. Fruity nose with the berries, light hoppy grass and blended with some vanilla. The taste shows the berries again with the hoppier side giving more bitterness and finishing smoothly with the vanilla. Gets hazy near the last pours and all-around, better balanced. Not as sweet as most Milkshake IPAs, but well-brewed if you prefer a little more hoppy and less fruity.

Can from the LCBO. Dark reddish purple under a lingering light pink cap that leaves patchy lace. Nose has raspberry at the fore with vanilla backing. Some light sweetness and a light+ berry tartness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation and a slightly sticky finish. Was prepared to hate another lactose bomb but this is well balanced. 7+/4-/7/3+/15

A dark brown ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of raspberry jam, light acidity, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of raspberry jam, caramel, light acidity. On tap at Ottawa winter brewfest 2019.
