For this Speling, we macerated fresh Hummingbird Mint or Agastache (drop plant) on three different lambikken. This herb adds gentle and balanced characteristics.
Almost 80% of the cereals used for these brews, have been sourced from our Cereal Collective. This blend was bottled straight from the maceration tank. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik.
The wild herbs used in this blend were sourced from a passionate herbalist in the north of Belgium.
Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen “Speling van het Lot” (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and blends.

Bottle at the Droom. Hazy golden. Mint, funk, wheat, oak. It’s obviously very herbal and greenish, but the lambic is lovely and it does work together. Over medium sour. Nice medium body. Quite interesting and I’m enjoying it.

Pours unclear blonde, scent is very full, strong 'plastic' like aroma. herbal. petrol. Rubber. Taste is medium intense, rubber, petrol, heavy aroma's, mild on the acidity. Most definately my least favorite 3f lambic ever.
