For this Speling, we bottled four different intensities of elderflower macerations. The white chalk on the bottle indicates which one it concerns. The lambik that was used was a 19-month-old 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik. Less than 60 bottles were made per maceration variety.

Pours fairly clear, relatively dark ambergold. Scent is elderflower, quite intense, lambic a bit lost. Taste is tart, loads of elderflower. Unbalanced to me, looses the lambic. Not a big fan.

Bottle. Unclear amber color with white head. Aroma is very nice elderflower jamminess, super intense and luscious. Taste is elderflowers all the way, not so much Lambic character left. Oily mouthfeel, flat. The aroma is beautiful, in the flavour profile I preferred Vlierbloesem II for its balance between Lambic and Elderflower flavours.
