On tap at Sternla, pours a cloudy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has crunchy grassiness, straw, and biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with crunchy grassiness, straw, and husky biscuity malt. A bit muffled but reasonably structured. Competent unfiltered pils.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of spicy and floral bitter hops, pale malt. Taste of pale malt, mild sweetness, floral and spicy hops.

Bierfest Nolte. Clear golden color, nice White head. Grassy nose, malty Taste. Nice.

Ziemlich süßer Beginn. Getreidig, erst im Mittelteil herber werdend, geringfügig bitter, moderat würzig. Süffig, monoton, erfrischend. 11/8/10/9//9

Fat på bryggeriet. Väldigt disig gul med ett stort skum. Jästig, brödig och lite honung.

Draught @ Brewery pub. Honey, flowery, light bread. A bit too yeasty. Soft mouthfeel.

On tap at Sternla Gasthaus in Bamberg. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some yeast some citrus fruit on the aroma. Yes full in the mouth. It's unfiltered. Easy drinking but with plenty of character. I thought excellent. So.e bitterness on the finish. Good.

Brauhaus Sternla Export, vom Faß im Sternla (zu erstklassigen Brohdwörschd). - Satt goldgelb, trüb. - In der Nase intensives, leicht brotiges helles Malz mit satter Honigsüße, Hefe, feine orangenfruchtige Hopfung. - Auch im Antrunk intensiv, fast fett hellmalzig mit satter Malzsüße, Honig und erfreulich frischer zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung, die tapfer gegen die fette Malzsüße ankämpft. Milder rezent, vollmundig, leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang solide, aromatisch hopfenwürzig-zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Intensiv malziges Export, für meinen Geschmack eher ein Märzen (wobei diese Bezeichnung im Sternla für ein anderes Bier reserviert ist), bei dem sich zuletzt doch eine aromatische Hopfung durchsetzt. Hier wurde weder an Malz noch an Hopfen gespart. (17.8.2023.)
