"Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Ambrosius", Flasche (33 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Helles Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase sehr aromatischer, hopfenwürziger Tettnanger Hopfen, Orangenschale und Hefe. - Antrunk kräftig und vielschichtig bitterfruchtig-hopfenherb mit Orangeat, Pfirsichkernen und Kräutern. Schöne obergärige Fruchtigkeit, aber nicht süßlich-hefig sondern wuchtig bitter (hefebitter?). Mild rezent, breit vollmundig aber von herber Tiefe. Im Abgang mild trocken und pfeffrig hopfenherb mit wärmendem Alkohol. - Äußerst gelungenes Starkbier, das die reiche obergärige Fruchtigkeit eines belgischen Tripels mit frischer, kräftiger Tettnanger Hopfenherbe verbindet. Ganz große Klasse!

0,33 l bottle from a Hoffmann Getränkemarkt. BB 02.10.2023. Pours out clear dark golden with an one finger frothy white head. Fruity hopy with belgian yeast on the nose. Taste starts with dry hay and fruity elements. Also malty and brown sugar sweetness. Increasing alcoholic in the second part. Dry mid bitterness. Nice but not reaching its belgian counterparts.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spicy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Clear golden orange pour with white head. Fruity and malty with notes of caramel and some sweet dried fruit, some casting sugar, light spices into the finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Mild sweet, toasted malty and slight caramelish. Bitter, toasted and breadish. Roasted finish.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, sugary, marzipan malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, marzipan malt, cookie, light alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Piwo ma ladny kartonik, ladnie sie prezentuje w kieliszku do burgundzkiego wina, piana srednia i szybko opada, jasna barwa miedziana, mglista lecz bez osadu. Zapach nieco chmielny i trawiasty, w smaku toffi, landrynki i sporo wyczuwalnego alkoholu, jak na styl nie bylo go zbyt duzo, szkoda ze nie udalo sie go ukryc, zbyt dominowal w tym wszystkim. Oczekiwania byly wieksze niz to co finalnie otrzymalem. Chyba stara wersja moze byc lepsza.
