The brown ale is medium bodied with notes of toasted brown bread, nuts and caramel. This base is paired and infused with Colombian beans that lend complex notes of citrus fruit and heavy chocolate.

Draft at Fermentoren CPH. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy, light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a big rich, roasty, molasses, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg (I think?) and consumed at home Tuesday 13th April 2022 listening to Marc Riley on 6 Music and then in bed. We had a Pasta'Bolognese for tea tonight. Brown on the pour with a ruby red hue. This is clear coffee'ness' from the off but very well done, roasty, lightly bitter and toasted malts. There is a sweetness, a little burnt molasses, coffee again, very nice. Brown ales are often overlooked and not a sexy beer like others, this however is a very nice brown ale, pushed further by the excellent use of coffee.
