A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of banana, mid sweet wheat malt, phenols. Taste of belgian yeast, banana, wheat malt, some phenols, gently spicy hops.

33cl bottle from Match supermarket in Woluwe Shopping Center, Brussels. F: medium, white, average retention. C: pale gold, hazy. A: a lot of banana, clove, wheat, bready touch. T: medium malty/wheat base, banana, spicy touch, citrus, coriander, medium carbonation, not totally fitted to the style but good balanced beer, enjoyed.

Thick, stable, slowly pitting-in head, yellowish, over very faintly veiled golden beer. Warm grain, wheat, hint of citrus, fake citrus, clove, banana - smelling more as a Weizen than as a wit. Grain and a faint acidity - idea enhanced by the citrus flavour - finishing in a spicy bitterness, citruspeel. Slightly metallick 1,4 guaiacol kept in check, but still too prominent to be refreshing, and even more, clashing with the probably not unimportant hopgift. Well, even H-P Dreschler had it hard with that. Spritzy carbonation. Faint wheatslickness, feels better bodied than it probably is. Despite some typical wheatbeer setbacks, this is not undeserving.Convinced that many will praise ton this high heaven. To me, it is a Hopfenweizen; even if a lot of the bitterness is the yuzu, not the hop.

Bottle from Pede. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Nose of banana, citrus, some lemon. Little bit bitter. Easy drinkable. Decent Witbier.

Troebel geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en licht fruitig met iets van banaan. Het heeft niet echt de typisch witbier smaak, de koriander komt niet naar voren. Desondanks best een goed biertje.
