This imperial stout is layered with one, literal ton of roasted Oregon hazelnuts and another ton of Sri Lankan toasted coconut before being dosed with barrel aged Wisconsin maple syrup and fresh ground Mostra coffee beans. We brewed this beautiful beer with our brilliant pal from Horus Aged Ales in Oceanside, California.

On tap at Peders, pours a filthy diarrhea brown. Aroma brings out gritty hazelnuts, earthy murk, ugh. Flavour has a messed up mouthfeel, with lots of gritty hazelnuts, earthiness, and cocoa. Earthy, nutty, and gritty.

200ml shared with Matt, Ryan, Brian, Phill and the most powerful worldwide ticker. Sweet, chocolate, thick, like drinking dark chocolate. Good one.

Can on 712 to the Ness, thanks to the Wingman, 25/02/23. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, maple syrup, coffee bean, brown sugar melt, dark malts. Taste comprises treacle toffee, coffee cake, spice, big streak of maple syrup, brown sugar melt, chocolate. Full bodied, oily viscous mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Solid.

Black, thick, fine line of brown head. Smell is rich, strong, roasty, some hazelnut, maple, coffee. Thick, creamy, boozy body. Taste is rich, quite bitter, with a ton of roast. Coffee shines, hazelnut combines well, and the maple comes through nicely.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a thick and viscous pitch black with a dark brown head that builds, then dissipates. Big bold coffee, dark chocolate, brownie and coconut aromas. More of the same on the palate with coconut and coffee really shining. Sweet, but enough roasty bitterness to push back without being overly saccharin-y. Lingering dark chocolate brownies, coconut and coffee.
