Can, small bubbly head, extremely dark brown colour, cocoa and bittersweet chocolate with some cinnamon and clove and a bit of vanila in the back, quite sweet but not cloying. Highly enjoyable.

Can picked up from Walther Mai, München and consumed at home sat upstairs in the living room after a nice day here, Sunday 3rd September 2023 with Mum and Keith listening to Stuart Maconies Freak Zone on 6Music, we had Souvlaki for tea tonight. Pours black with a dirty tan head. Picking up coffee and vanilla on the nose, there is a little bit of tonka. Chocolate in the mouth, perhaps a bit of coffee, it's a smooth and creamy Impy with vanilla and a little tonka also flooding through. Good but maybe not quite hitting the heights that I was hoping for.

Can, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger frothy brown head, medium retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Sweet nose, strong tonka notes, cake, vanilla, light cinnamon in the background. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, silky. Sweet taste balanced with mild bitter notes in the background. Still, quite on the sweet side. Aroma of tonka bean, biscuit, cake. Vanilla, cinnamon, mild chocolate. Lingering alcohol in the background, bitter, dry, warming. Sticky. Long lasting finish, sweet, liquory, dry. Perhaps a bit too sweet but tasty nonetheless.

Dark brown. No head. Lots of tonka, and that'�s good. Gentle, but the sweetness comes with a catch- it'�s surprisingly light and with the tonka and sweetness Id expect more body. Okay, a different expression of the concept but going leaner and nuttier isn'�t necessarily what I like.

330mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tonka, vanilla and some sugars. Flavour is a bit thin, with lots of tonka beans, a touch of vanilla, and some sugars. Thin body but the tonka is solid. Good.

Poured from 330mL can @ Weathered 2023. Very dark brown with small beige head. Tonka bean forward with some extremely subtle cinnamon notes. Some similarities to Twin Sails Tonka Bar. Okay.

Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet, warm en krachtig met iets van kokos, wat karamel, chocolade, wat vanille en hazelnoot. Heel fijn bier.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a smallish, light brown head. Intense tonka aroma atop sweet vanilla roast. Fat, sweet body leaving laces on the glass. Vanilla roastiness and again plenty of Tonka notes. If you like Tonka, this will be for you. 221122

draught @ Koht Aroma has cinnamon and vanilla. Mild licorice too. Flavour has vanilla, alcohol, some mildly salty licorice and cinnamon. Very nice pastry; surprisingly well balanced.
