10 April 2022. At 14de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!
Hazy brown, stable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of fig, raisin, pear, brioche, leather, green apple, bourbon. Taste has sweet fig, raisin & green apple; caramelly, brioche-like maltiness, phenolic aspects. Herbal hoppy finish, lingering dried fruit, spicy phenols and warming bourbon-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Not too bad for probably a first attempt at BBA.

Dark brown colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have lots of woody elements. Nicely dry. Sweeter bourbon is always there but stays in the background.
