Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy brown with an orange hue and a creamy, lacing, beige head. Super intense bacony Bamberg smoke aroma. Rich, sweet caramel and toffee notes with heavy Bamberg smoke. Sufficient balancing bitterness. Probably one of the most authentic Franconian style Rauchbeers made outside of Franconia. 110925

Clear deep dark purple to amber brown beer, no head. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, grains, hay, smoky touch, a bit of diacetyl, more subtle smoke notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, caramel, bitter, good smoky flavour, hoppy, dry, grains, cow fodder, rural impression. Aftertaste: bitter, weird, gentle smoke touch, more malts, cow fodder, soft roast.

Sample during Leuven Innovation '22, shared with Tderoeck and Untappd duo.
Couleur cuivrée, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est délicat, finement fumé sans tomber dans le tourbé, petite note de malts en retrait avec un apport caramel, grillé léger, qcq notes plus nobles pour les houblons - fleuri et fruité.
Palais présente de suite ce caractère allemand, de belles notes de fumé se dégagent avec une petite pointe de caramel en retrait. Le tout est un peu rustique avec la levure - petit côté ferme.
Content de voir les brasseries espagnoles et ces styles allemands avec Naparbier comme exemple. Un bon changement de cette mer de neipa et autres ipa fruitées.
