On tap at Fiveclouds, Macclesfield. Pours almost black with a small tan head and excellent lacing. Thereโ€™s roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma, plus some hints of peanuts. Roasted malts again in the mouth where it is slightly sweet, plus cola and chocolate. Some nuts and spice come through later as well. Finish is slightly dry. This is quite decent.

Aroma is marathon bar, peanut, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, chocolate cake. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Chewy, sweet, clammy finish. Sweet one. And 21/3/2025. At Fredโ€™s Bar & Vinyl, Stowmarket. See photo.

Keg draught at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. Dark brown and opaque with a tiny bit of a ring of off-white head and loads of lacing. The peanut butter on the nose is massive. Slight strange metallic aroma but still a good beer. Tastes just brilliant, sweet and peanuts without that artificial note so many pastry stouts have. Light bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation aids a body that has a nice thickness for the ABV. Love it.
