Very slightly cloudy gold with a frothy white head and a light malty nose. light bodied with floral hops and maybe a touch herbal, both refreshing and slightly bready at the same time

# 3573; 4/2023. Malty, herbal and citrus aroma. Cloudy gold body; white head. Herbal, citrus, fruity, malty, orange. Untraditional helles (too sweet and fruity for the style), but still a very good beer. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Tübingen (Swabia, Germany).

Pours light gold, slim white head, a little crispnesss, theirs is some grassy hop, light bittersweet, it comes across as a little bit thin and lacking somewhere, but otherwise ok.

0,33-Liter-Fläschchen - etwas wenig für ein Helles. Klare, sehr helle Farbe. In der Nase aromatisch. Geschmacklich allerdings recht konventionell. Getreide, Blumen, etwas Frucht (Birnen, Quitten, Aprikosen, Apfel). Ein Hauch von Zitronen- und Essigsäure am Gaumen. Insgesamt eher leicht und süffig. Ja, nicht schlecht. Vielleicht modern, aber nicht sehr hell. Für ungefähr den halben Preis bekomme ich auch ein tolles Helles in 0,5-Liter aus einer regionalen Brauerei - einen echten „Local Hero“. Kein Mensch braucht ein teures Craftbeer-Helles, dass auch nicht anders schmeckt als ein Bier aus der örtlichen Traditionsbrauerei. Irgendetwas besonderes sollte man dann bieten können, was die Traditionsbrauerei nicht kann. Eine ganz besondere Hopfung, ungewöhnliche Getreidesorten oder Bio-Rohstoffe. Einfach ein normales Helles in der kleinen Flasche zum großen Preis - das macht keinen Sinn.
