Bottle. Blonde. Peach, citrus, hints of new oak in the aroma and flavor. Vanilla. Malty sweet. Tart. Not a very good balance, but the flavors and aromas are nice.

Pours gold from the bottle. Thick frothy white head. Very much a Heller Bock in appearance. Aroma is oak, cherry, burnt plastic. Taste is all over the place but dominated by a mix of plastics and oak. Bitter, brewed evidentally with tons of oak chips but the overall impression is unnatural, artificial and just downright weird. Finishes warm — full of rubber and lumber. More of an industrial accident than a beer. Well, it was cheap..

Süß holziger Antrunk, stark Vanille, künstlich. Süß-holziger Mittelteil, wenig Alkohol, schwacher Hintergrund. Da hat jemand mal wieder den richtigen Zeitpunkt verpasst, die Chips aus dem Bier zu nehmen. 8/7/9/7//8

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. [ As Lahnsteiner Die Amerikanische Eiche I ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, wood, oak (almost heavy oak). Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic and oaky. IMO the oak is muck to heavy to the base beer ! [20160625] -

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and heavy oak. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. A good beer but the wood is too dominating. 250616
