Undated can, with some cellar age on it (aldo had them fresh), drunk 10/24/24. Clear, brilliant brass-maize. Large, white head, good retention. Hops aren't overdone. Yeast is classy and smells like Dupont. Malts show honey and light biscuit. Everything in balance, with lots of black pepper. Malty, supple, attenuated. A real Saison yeast indeed. Herbal and vaguely citrusy hops add a bit of complexity but don't overshadow the yeast. A bit more bitterness but it's lovely and balanced. Supple malts. Dry.

This version with Copper and Southern Cross hops. Pale yellow-straw body, thin/medium off-white head. Aroma light, grassy, and floral-fruity, with pear, banana, clove, and a touch of funk. Body has a nice earthy bite paired with sweet-tart apple and pear and a doughy base. Nice.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear, glowing straw gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Lovely saison yeast focused nose with lemon, pineapple and light mint notes on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Notes of clove, crackery malt and mineral notes with the same tropical notes from the hops. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Reminds me a lot of Blackberry Farm (which is a good thing!).
