Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Kenneth, 26/04/17. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is tangy dark fruits, black peppery spice, charr, mellow roast, cocoa powder, toffee. Taste comprises sticky fruits, liqourice, molasses, fruit cake, light chocolate, mellow barrel. Medium + body, fine carboantion, light warming alcohol in the close. Decent enough impy but no Ww.

Craft Islington bottle share. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth with good fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, very smooth, soft dark malt cream. Lots of spice. A little licorice and aniseed come Grappa. Spicy light finish. Pretty tasty and smooth.

Lots of, well, Prosecco and grappa. And as a buy who only drinks prosecco grappa ales (the world is lonely) I have to say Im not entirely satisfied with this entry. Decent grappa, but not a lot of Prosecco. Tangy booze finish.

From a bottle shared at the DC RB gathering Memorial Day weekend 2017 it is a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is of grapes and chocolate. The taste starts sweet and then goes into a strong bitter finish with hints of dark pit fruits with a boozey finish
