[ As Newbarns Scotch Annat ].
ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, floral, grain, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220512]

Draught, half pint. @Skaal, Copenhagen (Denmark). 12/05/2022 [#4.889 Global - #119 Scotland - #1 Newbarns Brewery (My scottish brewery #33)] Pours clear golden with a small white head. Some visual carbonation. Aroma: Cereal, malts and some citrus. Taste: Industrial malty and lemony lager. Cheesy finish. Next one please!

Tap @Skaal. Clear light golden, white head. Grain and cardboard aroma. Sweet malt flavour, bordering cloying.

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is sweet grains, papery malts, not much else. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Not convincing.

Draft. A very light yellow beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Cork and Cask. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas are herbal and light corn. Taste adds some lemon and ple malt. Clean and refreshing finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow with a nicely proportioned snow white head. Nose - corn and bitter salad. Taste - more corn, bread and light grass and herbs. Palate - light bodied, malty middle and light bitterness on the finish. Overall - good.
