0,33 l bottle. Unclear pale golden with a big foamy white head. As expected. Low malty and grassy on the nose. Taste? Not a lot. Some low grain, caramell, little bit apple fruity, low bitterness. Is this really an Einbecker? Or only brewed for Einbecker somewhere else? Not really bad, but only average in my opinion.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, white head. Sour malty base, damp straw, restrained grassy hops. Medium body, mellow body. Musty, dead. Nope.

Herber, etwas süß getreidiger Antrunk. Geringe helle Malzigkeit, weich. Rund aber eher langweilig, wenig würzig. Süffig, monoton. 10/7/8/7/9/7

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a diminishing frothy white head. Slightly grainy malty and yeasty aroma with bready accents and delicately herbal hoppy spice. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly bready and shy grainy malty taste with yeasty notes and a whiff of cardboard, especially towards the moderately dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable but also boring Lager. 15.I.16

Bouteille:Golden, hazy, smaller white head; dry grassy-grainy nose, some papery traces included; moderate dry - as well - bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, crunchy MF, unfortunately not soft; slightly lingering bitter grainy-grassy finish. O.K., surely nothing special…

0.33 l bottle from ’EDEKA Preller’ in Breckerfeld, best before February 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty-grassy aroma of straw, sweet malts, some honey and hints of citrus. Sweetish-malty, dusty-bready and slightly grassy taste of straw, sweet malts and some honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter and grassy finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Easily drinkable but also very boring.
