Decanter is an Imperial Stout - full of roasted coffee and lashing of rich cacao. A big grist of 12 malts including chocolate malt and a touch of smoked malt. Fermented with Voss Kviek and conditioned with coffee roasted by Le Bihan, less than a mile from the brewery. It’s a decadent can of goodness.

Appearance: Dark brown, near black. Small, tan head. Aroma: Dark fruits, prunes. Roasted, some coffee. Taste: Dark malt, dark fruits, some coffee and chocolate. Quite nice. Bought: Courtesy of Nordcore, 440 ml can Info: 23/7-2022, BB: 22/11-2022

Black with a medium light brown head. A roasted malt, coffee and some dried fruits sense. Sweet with a roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee ending. Medium to full bodied.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. A bubbly tan head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. a deep ruby glint to a near black body. Inviting aromas of roasted grain, hints of prunes and liquorice. A bit of everything to the taste character, impacts of cocoa coffee, vanilla, ash, dark fruit, and kveik yeast. Roasted coffee-chocolate ending, mid-sweet. Surprisingly easy to drink. Tasty, not that well balanced though. (Tromsø 01.06.2022).

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a black with a tan khaki head. Aroma is very rich roasted malts, coffee grounds, chocolate. Taste is roasted coffee, chocolate, cocoa, spice, roasted malts.

Nesten svart. Høyt tett skum med litt farge. Daler veldig sakte & etterlater litt lacing. Kakaoaroma. Smaken krydderkake, vanilje & røyk. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

Can at home, from Gipsy Hill online, 23/04/22. Light black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, coffee bean, herb, spice, charr, dried fruits, Taste comprises earthy roast, coffee, chocolate, hint of dried red berries, charr, spice, ashen tones, tangy dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light spike of boost. Decent enough impy ... sips fine if no Wow.
