On tap at Brew Festival. It’s a lightly hazy pale golden colored beer with a creamy white head leaving curtains. The aroma has grainy, dusty pale malts, grass and pepper hints, some piney hops and a vague chicken farm-ish yeastyness. It’s medium to full-bodied, smooth and semi-sweet, with a pleasant carbonation. Mostly fruity flavor, with grass and some pine cones, and bready, dusty pale malts in the back. Medium length finish. A bit dull and uninteresting this one. Think I need to try it in a non-festival setting though. 220430

8-5-7-4-14 Bottle, #2571 ten weeks after bottling. Pours clear yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with hay, white bread and honey, as well as zesty hops with leaves and grassy notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is pilsner malts with white bread, hay and heather, as well as zesty hops with citrus, as well as sweet grass and floral notes. A bit too sweet, and could benefit from some more bitterness.

Gylden. Nesten klar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av brøddeig & gress. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Litt honning, litt gress. Tørr lett bitter avslutning. En god pils.

Lett tåkete brun med høyt kremete skum. Lukter malt og noe urter. Pilsner fra øverste hylle. Malt, krydder, sitrus i smak. Noe sødme og medium bitter avslutning.

Bottle shared with JMD at Bjørnøy 07.05.22. Clear golden. Fairly persistent white head and lacing. Excellent taste of fine pilsner malt, succade and meadows. Some soft bitterness is lingering on. Very tasty and quaffable and very much in the style of a Czech pilsner.
