Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grainy malt with straw, cereal, some grassy noble hop in the finish. Flavour is moderate bitter, bit dry. Medium body. Good basic Pils.

33cl Fles van Tappie Toe. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Behoorlijk moutig, broodkorst, grassig en hoppig, hint van gist, rode appels, flink bittere finish. Lichte body. Zeer degelijk.

0.33 l bottle from 'De Vuurtoren', best before June 2022. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, slightly malty, a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some honey, light straw and traces of butter. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently malty and a little grassy-spicy taste of grains, straw, some honey and traces of butter, followed by a short, gently bitter, moderately dry, a bit grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, nowhere near a fresh Urquell though.
