100ml draught, from a sample tray at Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room. Clear dark brown body, beige head, fair lacing. Lightly roasted mid-sweet malts on the nose, promising. Flavoured with bread-like malts, caramel, and nuts. Mid-sweet malty finish. Nice.

Donkerbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van koffie, noten en chocolade. Ondanks een wat waterig mondgevoel een heel prettig bier.

From tap at Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room, Tallinn. Toasted malt in abundance with caramel, (dried) fruity notes, hint of bread and nuts. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Good stuff, about as much as you can ask for with this style.

Tap @MBCC 2024, Yellow Session. Black, beige head. Roasted aroma, some coffee. Bittersweet flavour, roasted malt, a little caramel and coffee.
