Forever known as “The Boss”, this refreshing German Pilsner pays homage to our late grandfather. Through constant hard work, a keen entrepreneurial spirit, and a charismatic personality, Doug lived his life to the fullest. Along the way he helped shape the lives of his family and friends. Cheers to you Doug – forever missed.

Pilsner and Munich malts were combined with Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina Bavaria hops to keep this beer light and refreshing – just the way he would have liked it.

On tap. Pours amber with light head. Lots of cereal and toasted malts. A bit of honey and cardboard. Light bitter finish. Overall quite heavy.

Not much aroma. Relatively sweet, with some toasty noble hop accents. Decent but I’d like it leaner and with more bitterness…this does seem more in the Bavarian style which is not my preference in German pils.

Has okay foam with a clear gold body. Smells of good cracker, some nice grassy hops. Tastes of okay honey, hop bitterness. Finishes smooth, good lingering grassy hops. It's decent enough, quite drinkable.
