375ml can into schooner glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. The last of 3 'Aussie Wheat Ales' released at the same time. Mountain Goat and Green Beacon being the others. Pale amber beer with a slight haze. Bubbly white head which dissipates, medium carbonation. Nose of citrus fruit and bread. Light body, easy to drink. A little bit fruity, a touch of bitterness, hint of pepper. Lingering fruitiness. Pedestrian but not horrible.

Can. Almost clear orange with a frothy 2cm white head that never quite disappears. Aroma of oranges, lime, crackers, white pepper. A taste confirms it's not a rebadging of Redback (although that went through the corporate wringer so many times, who knows): citrusy without the softness of a hefeweizen. A tiny twanginess from the wheat then a grassy and peppery finish that's got a bit of bitterness to it. Refreshing.
