Pelicano laat je kennis maken met het wapen van Appingedam waarin de pelikaan een grote rol speelt.
Verwacht aroma’s van bitterzoete chocolade, gedroogd fruit en gedurfde smaken van kokos en vanille die mooi samen komen. Zachte bitterheid van de geroosterde mouten die de zoetheid onderdrukt.

From tap at Proeflokaal MOUT, Groningen. Sweet with an aroma of vanilla, coconut, dark malt, chocolate, touch of mocha. Pretty sweet with a mild bitterness. Above medium body. Nice coconut. Rather sweet with a load of lacto.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep brown with a small, rough, light brown head. Very intense - and lovely coconut aroma atop some brownie dough. Rich, sweet chocolate with plenty of vanilla, chocolate and coconut. Not the thickest of Pastry Stouts, perhaps that's why it actually comes out drinkable and not simply cloying. Delish. 081222

Tap at the fest. Lovely coconut-tropical aroma combo, soft, raisiny somewhat. Big coconut-tropical-lime flavor combo, liquid Bounty bars, smooth, soft, fantastic! Medojed would be all over this. And to quote LPOTL: Did you know that Alcatraz means pelican in Spanish?

--Keg at Craft Beer & Spirits, Tjolöholm. -- Black, beige head. Aroma of coconut. Period. Very sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Coconut and milk chocolate. Saccharine and some boiled milk. Achingly sweet finish. Makes a dot appear one dimensional.
