Bay Ale is a copper coloured, traditional ale with malt and hop aromas and a smooth and well-balanced flavour. Hoppy, yet malt-forward this ale strikes a great balance. Using Perle, Bobek and Willamette hops alongside a strong malt backbone this beer is both for savoring and thirst-quenching, depending on your mood.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is bitter with smoothness, and the flavour is bitter with hints of maltiness but good level of hops. Overall a nice smoothly bitter ale.

Dark red brown colour with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet red fruits and a light bitterness in the finish.

Bottle and can. Hazy ruby/amber body with tiny flecks floating beneath a medium off-white head. Lively fizz. Aroma of stewed apple, caramel, tea and wood. Flavour of toffee, woody malt and earth. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and very enjoyable.

Tap @ The Black Sheep, Dublin. Clear light amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light hops in the background and a light malt bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

500ml bottle between three on an Irish tasting evening at home on 11th Nov 2016. Slight red hue to the deep amber body, off-white head on all three glasses. A little more malty aromas and flavours in this Irish Red (as you’d expect), some decent hop action going on too though. So toffee and caramel verses a grassy/woody, bittering hop combination.
