Bay Ale is a copper coloured, traditional ale with malt and hop aromas and a smooth and well-balanced flavour. Hoppy, yet malt-forward this ale strikes a great balance. Using Perle, Bobek and Willamette hops alongside a strong malt backbone this beer is both for savoring and thirst-quenching, depending on your mood.

Bottle from KWM Wines. Clear red brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and dark fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 021119

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, hops, fruits and has a nice sweet caramel finish.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Malt, caramel and floral notes and a hint of butter in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish. Friendly.

Draught @The Brew Dock, Dublin. Hazy amber brown, small!! beige frothy head, dissipating slowly, heavy lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, red fruit, molasses. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light caramel, molasses. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice Irish red.

Draught, 4.4% at the Black Sheep. The flavour is caramelly, but not as boring as many other red ales. Nicely rotated also. Dark copper colour, seems clear. Creamy tan head.

Light rust and plenty of cream. Pours amber with good creamy head. Light tangy end. Tap at Salt House.

Draft at The Black Sheep. Clear deep amber color white head with solid lacing. Cocoa caramel aroma. Taste is bitter peppery caramel smooooth mouthfeel

Draft at the Oslo Bar in Galway. Pours red with a frothy, white head. Aroma is full of tart, fruity notes. Noticeable lemon. Taste is mildly sweet, full of bread, caramel and herbal tea. Dry and mildly bitter at the finish. Sessionable. Good.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark red with medium-high brownish foam, fine. Aroma is malty roasted, some feeling of prune. Body is light with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with a hint of roasted bitterness. Finish is just a little longer than average.
