Fles gedeeld met Inoven, Roelzie1986 en Benzai. Het is een lekker blond bier met een goede houtsmaak. Aanzienlijk beter als de eerdere versies uit de serie.

Bottle shared at Belgium Chimipalooza, 2014 vintage. Creamy, moussy, off-white head, hazy orangey blonde robe. Aroma indeed reminiscent of ’oude jenever’ and juniper berries, banana, white bread dough, pineapple, wodka, pineapple, peach. Sweet peachy and banana-like fruitiness with a sourish gooseberry edge, softish carbo, fluffy and bready middle, honeyish malt sweetness dried by floral hops, yeasty spiciness and, expectedly, strong jenever-like alcohol in the end. I hate jenever so this is not one for my tooth, but an interesting ale nonetheless.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Apple notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Barrel this time not giving anything nice to the beer I think.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a lightly hazy one, dark golden-orange in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is rather boozy, with booze and spices. Quite fruity. It’s quite effervescent on the palate, medium bodied and soft on the palate, slightly warming. It’s alcoholic on the palate, with a good spiced touch. Pale malts, dark plums, prunes and a generic fruityness in the flavor, lasting for a good while. Decent indeed, but not my kind of beer. 150513

Hazy amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Smooth sweet malts, creamy sweetness with mild caramel - toffee. Smooth fruit liqueur with a modest gin like kick. Trace of dried fruits and a little spice before a semi dry finish. Fairly mellow, tasty and pretty drinkable.
19 years on, a touch more caramel borne of mild oxidation. Overall it's largely unchanged.

Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Buttery gin aroma with some marzipan. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bread, ripe fruit and marzipan. Peppery warmth, honey in the finish. Unusual and interesting.
