A stunning ale with fruit and abundant hop. Brewed in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s remarkable 70 year reign. A 4.2% Regal beer with a tropical fruit aroma from the Citra centennial hops, light in colour with a distinctly hoppy flavour.

Bottle from B&M Bargains, Sowerby Bridge. Slightly darker golden with a head. Hoppy in the main in both aroma and taste. Sold session stuff but no more than that.

Bottle from my local off-licence ‘Wine Rack’. Pours clear golden with a thin soapy looking white head. Faint aromas of caramel, toffee and biscuits. Taste has some more toffee and caramel, some peppery spice and orange sherbet. Thinnish body, light spritzy palate and smooth oily mouthfeel. Decent enough but also a tad boring.

[50cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A Pale amber pour with a thin white head and lively carbonation; grainy aroma with a hint of citrus; soft, somewhat soapy, malt taste; a grassy bitterness, and a dry biscuity finish. Rather bland and ordinary.
