Very dark but with a touch of reddish highlights. Big, creamy tan head. Classic Irish stout profile with dry roasted malts, chocolate, a touch of coffee, light earthy notes. Finish is lingering roasted malts and quite dry. Full, creamy body. This slaps for the style.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nicely roasty with dark chocolate, roasted malt, a little coffee. Medium bitter with a light sweetness. Somewhat creamy, nice roast. Basic elegance.

44cl can from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Pours pitch black with beige nitro head. Malty, roasty and smooth with notes of dark chocolate and sweet licorice. Smooth and easy to drink, but on the boring side.

Pitch black colour, small beige head. Aroma is roasted, some mild choolaty and creamy tones. Flavour is creamy, some mild chocolaty and toasted tones to it. Guinness like, but a wee bit sweeter, and more bitterness in the finish in this one.

A black beer, a head increases slowly, it's dense, creamy and big, beautiful. Aroma has roastiness, some caramel and chocolate. Taste has roastiness, light caramel, but still quite dry. Medium bodied, so smooth palate. This is huge beer for this style.
