Death of the Sun came the day the world went black. A beast of an Imperial Stout aged for over a year in the cosmic dark of Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. Notes of layered malt, dark fruit, and chocolate tame its heat. A beer so good you will rejoice in its perpetual darkness.

50cl bottle pours a murky brown beige head. Nose has malt and caramel and some cookie and barrel. Flavors same. Finishes with some bite and some witchhazel. Good. 8 4 8 4 14

On tap at Drake's Dealership, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a rather earthy bourbon character, but it's rather muted. Flavour is harsh, with a pretty abrasive bourbon barrel character, lots of booze, and a little roast. The bourbon character isn't exactly well-dialled in, revealing intense alcohol and bourbon. There's something a little weird in there that isn't come out right. Good, but needs some refining.
