Lager malt, lager hops plus ale fermentation creates this light & refreshing beer similar to a blond. Generous dry hopping gives this easy-drinker a big hit of tropical notes layered with more subtle elderflower flavours.

330ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grassy, weedy hop, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, light floral, pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, thanks Huub! Pale blonde. Grapefruit and oily hops in the aroma and flavor. Thin, watery. Vegetable notes. Very low on carbon. Should be much better fresh from cask.

8th July 2017: cask half-pint in the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh. Golden pour, white head. Hoppy brew with a farmyard like aroma and taste (dirty lines?). Interesting, even if there was an infection or line problem. At least it had an aroma and taste that wasn’t of citrus fruits!

Bottle from Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, lemon curd, lemongrass, some toasty grain and white bread. The taste is crisp, dry, straw, lemon peel, touch of grapefruit, some soap and cracker with a dry finish. Light - medium body and average carbonation. Easygoing stuff.
