Tap at The Jeffrey. Opaque golden pour with a white head. Floral, citric, somewhat spicy hops dominate both the aroma and taste, with a pleasant level of bitterness and a touch of pine and grass. Dry, light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Solid IPA.

$7.75 Pint+ bottle from WW. Pours slightly hazy gold with a dusting of a head. Nose is skunky pot, pine, resin, melon. Pot, herbal notes, pine, resin, light tropical fruit, orange peel. Feels a little thin, especially in the finish, but tasty nonetheless.

Bottle from Joseph's in Toledo. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely melon and cantaloupe aromas right out of the bottle with pineapple, jasmine tea and mango notes as it warms up. Good carbonation with some tea-like body on the palate. Lingering melon, stone fruit and tropical fruit on the finish. Low perceived bitterness. Just a beautiful IPA.

16 ounce bottle. Medium gold pour. Frothy beige head. Fresh malt aroma. Notes of herbal, spicy hops. Soft wheat malt base hints at earthy spice from the Triticale grain. The HBC 472 hops add notes of citrus, vanilla and coconut. The Loral hops contribute notes of herbs and sweet fruit. Soft and supple throughout, this is one smooth, easy-drinking IPA. Some peppery notes in the brief bitter finish.

Draft at Maloney's, 6/20/22. Slightly cloudy yellowish color, strong white head that leaves lots of lace. Herbal and grassy, melon, some stone fruit. Sweet bread and a little grapefruit. Spruce, pine thing on the finish. Exceptionally crushable.

Pours slightly hazed gold into an English pint. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing to mottle surface. Sweet citrus, meadow and apricot aromas. Sharp with meadow, orange zest, and hot sourdough upfront turning to earthy pith in the dry, lasting finish.

Bottled May 31, 2022, drunk 6/10/22. Mostly clear, light blonde-golden. Large, moderately-well-retained, white head. Floral and fruity nose with lots of melon, angel food cake, soft papaya and mango. Honey-like malts behind it in support and little, if any, acidity. No alcohol noted. Soft, malty, fairly sweet with angel food cake and honey. Hops almost an afterthought, adding melon, clementine, lemon and papaya. Perplexingly low bitterness. In MBC's quest to not make the same old NEIPA as everyone else, they have made an even less interesting IPA that they put out, release after release after release....
