Cask at Jolly Crispin, Upper Gornal. Aroma is citrusy. Light hazy gold. Foamy white head. Lightest bitter. Sour streak. Big malty biscuity streak. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bland but sessionable.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a pale greenish straw, with a small foamy white head and good lacing. Slow to settle but does so eventually. Not much of an aroma, just some vague caramel. In the mouth it is light and sweet with malts, biscuits, and a little lemon. Later on some citrus makes itself known, with hints of yeast and grapefruit. Sweetness carries through into the finish. This is rather nice – much better than I expected.

Hand-pulled half-pint at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 20th July 2022. Very pale golden body, clean and clear; smooth white foam on top that gave some good lacing. Citrussy with a solid malt base, first beer of the day, good start.

Draft at the Handle Bar, Cradley Heath. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, light tropical citrus, light dank hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the West End Brewery, Fixed Wheel Tap Takeover. Light gold, not quite straw. Clear with a spotty white head and lots of lacing. Juicy aroma with pineapple and grapefruit peel to the fore. Taste has a bit more balance at first, but tge sweet biscuity malt is overrun by a bitter and lightly stringent hop. More grapefruit in the aftertaste. Nicely put together with bags of character for the ABV. Impressed.
