Canned 6/27/22, drunk 7/22/23. Clear, dark, spotty, dark beige head to ring. Green pepper, smoked sugar. Yeah this has turned from the green bell pepper character but isn't punishingly sweet, but there's a gross caramel sugar character on the finish. Honestly, if it weren't for the gross caramel this would be nice. Vanilla is well done. Age has helped the sweetness.

Can (6/27/22) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's an opaque, inky black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong roasted coffee and malt, coconut and vanilla. Taste is strong coconut, milk chocolate, vanilla, late bitter roast. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, some alcohol burn coming up through the nose and esophageal warming and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of aroma and coconut and all elements represented pretty well. Holding up well at 11 months but alcohol is too forward.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a full finger of brown head that dissipates. Big coffee and caramel aromas on the nose with some light vanilla as it warms. Treacle, molasses, cacao nib and baker's chocolate on the palate with caramel that lingers. Big and bold and full bodied, thick, chewy stout. Timber continues to drop big stouts that aren't pastry.
