50 cl bottle at an expensive supermarket in the middle of Wurzburg. Medium white head. weak retention.Medium lacing. Grains and grass. Malty, grainy. Light to medium body body .Average carbo.

From bottle. Grain, bread, hay, lemon zest, slightly metallic. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium zo light bodied, oily watery texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry grainy finish. An alright Helles.

Clear pale to medium golden colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Subdued aroma, pilsner malt, grain, bready, hay. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, hops. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, mild dry sweetbitter aftertaste, peppery notes, bit dusty notes. Okay helles.

On tap at Beer Rize. Pours clear light golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Crackers, grainy, mild bready. Decent.

The bitterness and aroma is just a little off for me. But it looks beautiful and the malty graininess is spot on. D&S Dresden

Bottle. Blonde. Malt and floral notes in the aroma. Malty floral, soft herbal flavor. Bready. Fairly pleasant helles. So strange I picked up a bottle in Nordhorn, just a few miles from home, while I tried to visit the brewery several times some 10 years ago to pick up some beers, and never found it open.

Schönes schlichtes, traditionelles Label. Optisch klares Gold, leichte Perlung, dafür ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase schön getreidig, ohne Fehler. Im Trunk erfrischend, sehr süffig, getreidig, mittig sogar crispy, für den einen oder anderen vielleicht zu wässrig, die Knackigkeit im Mittelteil bügelt das aber aus. Kastenbier!

18/6/2018. Bottle from Evin, Helle. Pours golden with a modest bubbly off-white head. Aroma of corn, sweet malt, hops, caramel, fruit and hops. Medium to heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Sweet, fruity finish. Not best example.

“Wolf-Bier Helles“, Flasche (50 cl) von Sagasser, Bad Neustadt. - Satt goldgelb, klar; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase etwas gequältes, stumpfes helles Malz und vage kräuterig-zitronige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk blaß hellmalzig mit leicht künstlicher Süße, zart säuerlich abgeschmeckt. Schwache kräuterige Hopfenaromen gehen rasch in ranzige Herbe über, die den Hopfenextrakt verrät. Gut rezent, leicht trocken. Schwach säuerlicher Abgang mit unschön ranziger Bittere. - Lieblos gemachtes Helles ohne Bezug zur fränkischen Brautradition; noch trinkbar aber kein echter Genuß.

Bocken varer lige til påske. Pale golden with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with a touch of cardboard. Sweet grain and cardboard flavour.
