A DIPA co-fermented with three yeast strains (CW house, Verdant house and JW Lees) and dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin.
It's the first time we've riffed on a recipe from our celebrated 'v series' in four years. But the launch of our new collaborative project, The Mashup, felt like the perfect opportunity to bring back the highest-rated edition from that set.
Dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, it drips with soft peach and stone fruit, followed by a burst of fresh tangerine and grapefruit. The resinous, umami qualities of Allen weave throughout, balanced by a candied fruit sweetness that lingers into the finish.

Appearance is murky yellowy orange, with a half-finger white head. Aroma is orange, piney hops, mango, papaya, tropical fruit. Taste is juicy fruity hops, pineapple, orange, mango, fruit salad, fruity sweetness.

[ As Cloudwater / Verdant Allen V13 - The Mashup ].
ABV: 8.0%. Muddy matt medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, oat, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, apricot, fruity hops, mango - papaya. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, wheat - oat, fruity hops, apricot, mango - papaya, hops bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home (28/8/2022) - hazed yellow with a white head. Loads of juicy fruity offered with mango and peach, some grapefruit and lychee exotics, really juicy, sweet creamy malty backbone, piney dank robust hoppy finish. Lovely.

Tap at Acido Acida 2022, in Ferrara, Italy. Pours hazy, looking like a orange juice, with medium grained white foam. Aroma is intense hoppy, resinous, tropical. Body is fairly full, with average carbonation. Taste is pretty bitter, very aromatic, even pungent. Final is fairly long and bitter.

On tap at Cloudwater, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out some tangy hops, citrus pith, and a touch of chalk. Flavour is rather chalky, with tangy hops, light citrus, and some bright fruitiness. A bit chalky and gritty but it's alright. Overrated big time.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Opaque yellow to orange colour, white head. Aroma of guava and papaya, a hint of strawberries. Flavour with the same elements, some lactose sweetness, and a fairly bitter finish. Good beer.
