Another powerfully hoppy IPA from Dunham. A touch more pop on the hop profile than its younger brother Cyclope Alpha. Tropical, and pine resin hops are very fresh and definitely in the foreground. The malt is substantial and balances the bitterness pretty well. While the beer is very drinkable, there is a slightly astringent bitter aftertaste, which could turn off those who don’t like a strong east coast IPA.

Bottle. Pale blonde. Citrus and lychee in the aroma. Thin sharp citric hopbitter flavor. Grassy, earthy with a long aftertaste. Herbal. Good.

Can 473ml (Beer Rep, canned 05/2019)
Hazy pale yellow colour, small white head and some lace. Grapefruit peels, citrus, peppery hoppyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Grapefruit, grapefruit peel, pale malts in the flavour. Citrus fruityness. Quite nice. Not NEIPA, not West Coast, something between.

Clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, lightly sweet. Grapefruit hops, grapefruit peel bitterness. Light floral bitterness on the dry finish. Bitter linger. Not bad.

Clear deep golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention, collapsing around the rim while a small foam cone in the middle collapses more slowly, good lacing. Aroma grapefruit, lemon, unripe mango, pine, lemon grass. Taste is light sweet and medium to full bitter, citrusy, hoppy, long duration, dry bitter finish, herbal and chalky notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Crisp and well-hopped, but tastewise a bit one-dimensional and kinda harsh, yet still a quite good IPA.

341ml bottle from Firma-Bier

Bottled 30.7.2015 - Pours clear yellowish golden with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of grass, faint notes of vegetables, aged hops, hints of hay, floral notes and citrus. Taste is crisp, sweetish and slightly grassy with hints of hay, floral notes, citrus and aged hops. Finish is crisp, hoppy and grassy with some hints of floral notes and citrus. Okay, but unfortunately not very fresh anymore.
