Head is big, tanned, good retention. Colour is dark, opaque. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Taste is medium malty base, roasted tones, coffee, chocolate, bit caramel yet nice dry on the palate, soft carbonation, good one, enjoyed.

On tap at the brewpub, shared with Marko. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel and light honey nose. Mild roasted malt, caramel, weak coffee and discreet roasty finish.

Tap at the brewery. Full body, med-high carbonation. Lots of roastiness, with med-light astringency, lots of deep roast, coffee. Also medium caramel. High sweetness, med-high bitterness. Feels pretty rough, too sweet, too astringent. Average.

Tap at Brewer. Mild green apple over some caramel in the aroma. Soft, creamy dark caramel and honey taste, pleasant if lightly flawed. So far the best of the bunch.
