Die schwarze Knospe 🌑, wie dieses Bier übersetzt heißt, war in meinem Fall leider schon verblüht 🥀, also das Bier sauer. geworden. Das ist recht schade, da es eine schöne tiefschwarze Farbe und ölige Textur hatte, was von runden herb-malzigen Aromen begleitet wurde. Ich glaube, dass es durchaus ein schönes, schweres 🪨 und aromatisches Bier 🍺 ist.

Bottle 0.75l. Lightly cloudy, dark red to dark brown colored. AROMA- toasted malts, bread crusts, creamy, nuts, touch of hops. FLAVOR- neutral, a bit roasty sour, moderately bitter, creamy, dark chocolate, earthy, bread crusts, coffee, black cherries, elderberries. Medium bodied. Good dark lager.

Draught. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, some crystal malts, mild nutty notes as well as some slight roasted notes. Flavour is quite strong on the roasted side with also some caramel, mild dried fruits as well as some toffee and mild burnt sugar. Toasted wooden and toffeeish aftertaste.

Bottle. Malty aroma, chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light sweet notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty bitter finish with chocolate notes. Good.

On tap at Clock Block Pours dark brown with creamy beige head. Sweet roasted malts on nose. Tastes coffeeish sour. Low bitterness. Roasted malts. Very good.

On tap at Dunkbar. Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with licorice and coffee. Sweetish roasted flavour with licorice and charcoal.

Tap at RJ. Very nice, clean, and drinkable. Light to moderate roast, coffee, chocolate, light dark fruits, only subtle hops presence. Rather bitter but very much in balance. Overall seems on the roast side. Good one.
