As part of our split experimented sour batch. This is a mix ferment Gose with additions of Cape Gooseberry & Yuzu. Brewing you a slightly tart Gose that is brewed using Indian coriander and pink Himalayan salt.

Tap. Malty aroma and taste, yuzu, gooseberries, light salty, medium sour. Medium body, malty sour fruity finish. Ok.

Tap. Golden color with white head. Aroma of gooseberries and yuzu. Sour taste with gooseberries and youzu, lactic.

Tap at Umorthodox. Mostly straightforward gooseberry+yuzu character, rather thin, lots of sourness, clean lactic. Good one though, easy drinking.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden orange with a light haze. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - big sweet mandarin note. Fanta. A little yeasty around the edges. Taste - funky and salty, then tangy orange again. Like Tango orange with a salt addition. Palate - tangy and close to medium bodied. Dry tangy/salty finish. Overall - described it as orange as ages since I've had cape gooseberry and not sure what yuzu gives. Good stuff whatever it is!

19th October 2019 Can. Medium haze on this gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Tart but never acid and with a crisp savoury edge, enjoying this gose already and then we get to the fruits. Nicely done. Obvious physalis, slightly floral sweet with a pleasing salty tangerine and lime vibe that is delightfully and obviously yuzu. Crisp tart finish. Really enjoying my Gose’s just now. They seem to have matured as a style or my palate has evolved. Love the tart savoury fruitiness. Love the absence of acid that the sour devotees are swallowing ‘Tums’ to, you know, ‘enjoy!’. Good stuff.

5abv... Hazy amber.. Nthin white lacing.. Soft sharp tart fruits nose.. Big bright tart fruits.. Juicy sherbert fruits.. Citrus sherbert orange.. Thin bright fruits
