We’ve employed various techniques to use wine grapes in this wild ale. From long-term maceration of the beer on the grapes, to adding our spontaneously fermented wine. This, together with the fact that we’ve never used this much wine grapes in a beer (approximately 625 grams per liter), results in a very wine-like beer with a lot of different layers in taste and aroma.

Drucken från flaska på MBCC 2023. Ljust gyllengul färg med ett tunt benvitt huvud. Aningen svavel i doften, druvig, torr, krispig, lätt pigg syra, lätta tanniner. Mycket gott

Bottle at MBCC 2023, Yellow session. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is vinous, yeast and some oak. The flavour is moderate sour, with a crisp, light, earthy, vinous, dry oaky, tart acidic, light citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Appearance: Dark golden/orange colour with a white head.
Aroma: Funk, grapes, tart, citrus, yeast.
Body: Meidum body , low carbonation.
Flavour: Grapes, funk, sour, tart, yeast, citrus, berries, malt.

Bottle. Deep raspberry red. Slim ring of white head. Nose is awesome here. Huge amount of sweet red grape. Raspberry. Strawberry. Blueberry. Oak. Leathery funk. Beautiful. Taste is sweet and fruity with a clean funky, fruit pip bitterness. Palate is almost smoothie like there’s that much fruit here. Soft carbonation. Huge juicy finish. Stellar.
