33 cl bottle, brought by friends from Finland. A little past the best before date. Very dark brown color, but not quite black. Beige head with both big and small bubbles. Aroma’s of roasted malts, ground coffee, mocha, chocolate. Retronasal there’s also some smoke or light peat and light fruity sourness. Flavor is light sweet, roasted, light sour. Body is rather thin. Finishes with some ash, a bit dry. A bit more body would have been good, but a nice brew nonetheless.

Dark brown-copper body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of light smoke, chocolate, molasses, some coffee, dark fruits.
Tastes of smoke, wood, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, some dark fruits.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, roasty, smokey, quite dry, with coffee and cocoa.
Nice one. Good example of a smoked porter, not among the best I’ve had, but quite enjoyable, with a good balance.

BB 04/2016. dark brown / redish color, small off-white. smells malty roast, some smoke, spices, light ash, coffee, bitter chocolate. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste of ash, light sweetness, herbs, acidic, malty roast, leather. finishes quite herbal bitter and dry, also some ash. decent one, overall too bitter for me though, I like prefer my smoked porters a bit more creamy.

Bottle. Aroma smoked, slightly peaty, caramel, chocolate. Very dark colour, almost clear. Taste is rather thin bodied, equal parts of smoked ham, peat and caramel/chocolaty/roasted malt. Enjoyable, but not drinkable in big quantities.

12oz bottle thanks to IP trade with Cuso. Dissipating lt tan-brown with red tint. A-smoke-med malt, some nutty. T-stong smoke/some ash, some fruit, earthy hop.

Bottle, BB 01.11.15, ABV 6.5%. Shared by FatPhil & Marduk, thanks! Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is cigar smoke, ash, malt, some tart. Flavor is tart, cigar smoke, malt. Overall: ok.

At a tasting, many thanks Hermod, dark brown color, small stable creamy head, smokey peaty aroma with some coffee in the back, charred wood and smoked meat flavor with a dark chocolate backbone, light sweetness, nicely balanced. Really nice and extremely drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks tomer. Dark brown witha rather creamy beige head. Roasty aroma with rather peaty smokiness. Bittersweetish roasty flavor with nice smokiness and a nutty note. Medium-bodied. Nice!

Bottle from rosenbergh, many thanks. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, rye,smoke. Taste, roasted malt, rye, ash, smoke. Medium long smoked finish with dark chocolate. Enjoyable beer.

33cl Bottle shared, thanks Harmen! Black colour, beige head. Aroma of burnt peanuts, peanut butter, burnt pumpernickel, some cocoa, ash, charcoal, grain. Flavour is equally vile, tastes like a waste dump. Really not good. Perhaps didn’t survive the trip from Finland to NL.
